The 10 Most Anticipated Movies of 2012

Last year’s list of most anticipated movies of 2011 had a healthy combination of hits and misses – The Hangover 2, Cowboys & Aliens, Green Lantern, and The Rum Diary proved the expression “don’t believe the hype” while other movies like Rise of the Planet of the Apes far surpassed expectations much to the chagrin (yeah, I said it) of cranky commenters. So, which movies releasing in 2012 are dudes most looking forward to? Well, don’t expect much different from Hollywood – they’re sticking to their arsenal of sequels, prequels, superheroes, reboots, and re-envisionings of classic fairy tales. That doesn’t mean we’re any less pumped to see the following 10 flicks. Check ‘em out below and sound off in the comments.

#30. This Is Forty
Directed by:Judd Apatow
Starring: Jason Segel, Megan Fox, Leslie Mann, Paul Rudd, Melissa McCarthy
Release Date:December 21, 2012
The spin-off to 2007's Knocked Up won't star Seth Rogen and Katherine Heigl but will instead focus on the married couple in trouble, Pete (Rudd) and Debbie (Mann). However, it's Megan Fox and Melissa McCarthy who've got our interest piqued.

#10. Titanic in 3D
Directed by: James Cameron
Starring: Leo DiCaprio, Kate Winslet, Billy Zane
Release Date:April 6, 2012
The special re-release of the second highest grossing flick of all-time takes place on the 100th anniversary of both the sailing of the fated ship and Paramount Pictures. We got a special sneak peek at the converted edition and we immediately began drawing each other in the nude.
