The Blackberry Bold 9900 was announced last month and it has now appeared on Three's Coming Soon page. The launch date of the new flagship Blackberry Smartphone is listed as September !
Unlike a lot of other Blackberry smartphones , which tend to have mid-range specifications, the Bold 9900 is at the cutting edge of mobile technology.
The Bold 9900 is driven by a 1.2 GHz Snapdragon processor and has 768MB of RAM, which is more power than is usually seen on Blackberry devices. The on-board memory comes in at a solid 8GB, which is a good amount for storing data, photos and documents.
The user-interface should also prove fantastic because the Bold 9900 has a 2.8 inch touch-screen, as well as a full QWERTY keyboard. When combined with the new Blackberry 7 operating system the Bold 9900 should be a joy to use.
One of the most advanced aspects of the Bold 9900 is that it supports NFC, which enables you to pay for items contactlessy using your mobile. A 5 mega-pixel camera is also present which can shoot great photos and videos.
The price of the Bold 9900 on Three has yet to be unveiled but we'd anticipate it to be available free on the One Plan for around £35 a month.
